Takes about a week before your chin doesn't feel like you're drooling (chilly).

Worked on my kz900. Installed a new alternator cover and hopefully stopped the oil leak at the wire exit plug. Installed new clutch set.
Took it for a short spin. Man, I love the sound of that bike!! The Jardine 4 into 2s have a nice tough, low, growl. A little louder than the 4 into 4s. Much better than my kz1000 with the Vance & Hines, which I find too brassy, and a little too loud.
And yes, it is still for sale.

Took the CX650 out for a ride, went up the old FSR to the top of sumas mountain.
Beautiful day out here.

My Friend found me some of the parts that I was missing on my 33 Scott and put them on
The real question is what is the likely hood that he could find the exact parts that were missing on my bike two years after I bought the bike. I know that there were 1000s sold and parts are everywhere... Thanks Kevin!!

Some guys in Europe were building a 14 Indian electric.. When they finally founda srarter for it, it appeared by all the marks to be the one that came with the bike..,
I know of a guy in Cal built a sprintcar around 1967. Sold it to a guy from Alberta in the 70s. He popped the bead on a tire, threw in a bunch of model airplane engines, took it to Canada. ..last he saw of it..
Years later the guy sees a sprint car body and parts on ebay... Second time thru. Gets a hold of seller, asks more questions, makes a deal for it, seller meets the guy at the border, finishes the deal..then the buyer pulls out the album showing pics of it when it was built and raced.. And while loading it, they tip it on its side, and notice underneath..lettering.. Oh..s***.. Too funny..
One of the coolest deals I was part of..

Drained all the oil out of the sump on my Norton and wiped some of the bugs from last year off of it.
Charged and realized the battery for the Triumph is roached.
Maybe I'll get a new one tomorrow. Maybe not. I need some new riding boots. Maybe I'll go to Fruitvale and look.....
