Your right Frank it can be done on a lathe if mine was running.
Still hoping to find a mill in the future when I move.

Rode it a little, then moved it from one side of the shop to the other while trying to clean up all the crap I've managed to spread around.
I did find some floor today, yay me!

Today I got the the gs750 wired up for the heated vest my lovely wife gave for xmas. An took care of a few issues on my gsxr too. Got my solo seat back from the paint shop, Perfections in Victoria. I really like the look it has. Took some pics of it to try for collector plate as it turned 25... I know it's gonna be a stretch but hey never thought the 1150 would get them.

Trickle charged the 3 live batteries I have just to keep them on the go during these winter months. Batteries are for the RZ 350, GS 750, and Concours.
I don't have one of them smart trickle chargers so have to tend to the batteries manually myself......

out in the shop and now ready for transmission extraction ..... just need to get someone over as 2nd set of hands to prevent dropping or some other manhandling screwup. And just a question about the flywhel teeth .... would replacing the flywheel and starter drive be a good idea at this time?? (replacing clutch while doing this 40,000 mile spline lube seems to be a nobrainer but no problems with starter so far ) the starter has matching divots ....... so choices are ... replace starter drive .... replace both flywheel and starter drive.
So many decisions and only one small poorly functioning brain!!!
