It's weird Chris, you seem way more normal and calm in person than one is led to believe online.... Grin

I think I need to drink more Coca Cola, you have much much more patience than me, Chris! The rims look awesome.  Cool
thanks Glenn, wait until you see the Wes Cooley, couldn't leave it alone, had to give it a little attention before it hits the road again...

Look forward to it, this living on a fixed income stuff can inhibit a guys ability to tidy up a motorcycle... (but I wouldn't trade retirement for anything)  Grin

Those are really nice!  I expect the rest of the bike to live up to its wheels!  What year is it?

My KZ1000 project is ready to ride, although I still have a small weep through the head seal when the engine is really hot.  I tried a couple of local stores to buy some Permatex copper spray on gasket but they were out.  So I ordered a couple of cans and expect them in a week or so.  Meanwhile I'll ride the bike and fix up the little things I know need to be fixed.

Pulled the starter out of "old Blue" the GS-1000G.  I have noticed in last few weeks a slight reluctance to start, on occasion.  Since the starter was changed out probably 10 or more years ago and hasn't been touched since I figured I should have a look at the brushes and clean the commutator grooves.  I'll have to check with the Suzuki shop next week to see what length the brushes should be.  They don't look too bad, but what the hell do I know. In the meantime, I'll ride my V=-Strom or ST=1100.  Nice to have back up.

Nice to have backup for sure!  Happiness is having more than one motorcycle to ride!  Today I'm trying to decide what bike to ride to Pemberton.  Should I ride the Z1B or the KZ1000 LTD?  This is the first time I've had the option.

Looks nice. Neat and tidy. I'm sure you've heard it before and will hear it again, the constabulary won't like it.

Good luck,

Very tidy indeed! I wonder... do you get free rides over the Port Mann with that setup?  Grin
