The link below will take you to a site where you will find the book
 Across America by Motor-Cycle.
The book is written by CK Sheppard who travelled from Britain to Canada then on to New York where he bought a brand new 1919 Henderson motorcycle in order to travel across the country to San Francisco.
CK has a unique writing style and you might find that his description of early Americans is very similar to the present day version.

This second link will take you to the website of a gentleman who was gifted a 1919 Henderson by his father and on his long journey to restore the bike learned of CK Sheppard and decided to duplicate the same journey 100 years later. On the website under the news tab you will find some videos of his bike and the journey.

Neat.  You can download the book to your reader, ipad, tablet, phone, etc here for free (along with thousands or other books)

I use Calibre, which is a very powerful open source E-Book Library manager.  With Calibre loaded, you simply add the book(s) to your Calibre library using the file menu, then, connect your reader to your computer, right-click on the book (once added) it and choose 'send to device' (either the main memory, or external memory if it has any).
