Another local BC motorcycle legend passed away suddenly today October 26th. Early on his family started Little Rock Raceway in south Aldergrove, he went on into motorcycle sales, later RV sales in Chilliwack. He was also the man behind Gryphon Moto riding wear. I’ve known him since the early 80’s, I bought my 1st new motorbike from him in 1984 at Abbotsford Kawasaki. A real shame.

Wally was also among the best Motocross riders in Canada during the '70's. Factory sponsored for many years and was a genuinely nice guy.

Never met him but knew who he was from following MX in the 70-80's, a real legend back in the day. Raced a national at his track in Aldergrove in 86. Sad day...
