In my experience, they are all about the same.   In business to make money, but supplying generally good service.

DHL is a bunch of mouth-breathing idiots.

Purolator is owned by Canada Post but is too stupid to be able to deliver to a P.O. Box.

UPS has the best chance of getting your stuff to you but you can't pay the customs fees online, you'll have to mail them a cheque (can you hear me back there in the 90's?).

FedEx has slightly worse service than UPS but you can pay the customs fees online easily.

I'm pretty sure I've paid UPS fees online.

I'm pretty sure I've paid UPS fees online.

Tried to do it two weeks ago and was told I needed to set up an account with them.

FedEx just lets you pay as a guest by using the invoice number, like any rational company should.

Correct.  I have an account.  Or had one.  I got a notice a month or so ago that they were cancelling it because I don't use it enough.
