That weird contraption is Phillip Funnells latest toy. He was a BMW dealer way back in the 70's on the coast and was famous for taking long trips, then writing about them.  Any one who was on the coast back then is very familiar with PHILLIP. I think he's now in his late 80's or so, and obviously still going strong.  When he's on long trips, he actually sleeps in that thing.

As soon as I saw it I knew it was Phil's Camper..
bought my belstaff from his shop on Hastings, wish I could fit into it..
remember when H-D romanced him after he got out of the dealership..

Trevor, you should park that bike so you and get the other one on the road for big Dan to ride in the summer, yes I said BIG Dan, rumor has it you might have to get him a fat boy to carry that gut. How come you only put 60 km on that bike every time you have it out. ha ha,

Haha I talked to Danny today he said he weighed himself today and is down to 200lbs with nothing on but a smile! Sais he can't help ypu with the Ascot but would like to find a project one for himself. Cheap of course! Cheesy And yeah I don't know what's up with the 60km but that always seems to be the number when I get home. Huh?
