Title: DOM tubing
Post by: Bucko on August 26, 2023, 10:09:34 PM
Not motorcycle related but I'm working on a little project where I need a short section of 1/4" ID DOM tubing (or pipe?).  Hoping to find a supplier in Vancouver area but have no idea where to find something like that and google hasn't been much help.  Anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

You could try some fabricators.

DOM?   I guess if I have to ask what that is, I would not be any help to you. :P

Metal Supermarket has DOM tubing.
They also have an offcut bin you can dig through.

Awesome.  Thanks, Sean.  Kiwi Dave suggested the same thing.  Will check it out.

Draw Over Mandrel.  Apparetnly using a mandrel yeilds tight tolerances, i.e. so that 1/4" is really 1/4".
