Perhaps the best street motorcycle road within 200 miles of Metro Vancouver, WA SR 20 from Sedro Wooley to Winthrop, commences Mar28 with snow slide clearing:

Been there, done that.  Got rained on.  Might as well have stayed in Vancouver. BUT, on nice days it is AWESOME.

First time over the pass was with my wife on a Z1B.  We left Winthrop early to attend the Vintage in the Valley Show in Chilliwack.  She froze her ___ off.
The last trip over the pass was returning from Dawson City.  With the wildfires you could barely see 100 kilometers.
On one trip a shop in Burlington sponsored a ride to a Red Barn in Winthrop.  At my fuel stop there were approx. 100 super bikes at Shell and Chevron stations.  Continuing toward the coast we passed 4 sets of WA ST Motorcycle troopers heading that direction.  In between troopers a guy went buy doing over 50mph in a wheely.
Always enjoy the overlooks at the reservoirs and from the top of the pass.
Winthrop also has The Old Schoolhouse Brewery for a good meal and beverage.

I’ve ridden that road quite a few times.  In my opinion, the ride and views are much better travelling east to west.  A great ride is to cross the border at Nighthawk and ride south through the apple orchards and massive lilac hedges in spring when the blossoms are full.

Another great ride within day riding distance from Vancouver:
Whistler to Cache Creek

Yup.  I’ve ridden that road many times as well.  Back  in the day, I did a fair amount of backcountry skiing in the area around Duffy Lake.  And once again, in my opinion, the ride and views are much better travelling east to west.

And now you can see where the massive hunk of Joffre Mountain fell off a couple of years ago.  Lots of people frequent the backcountry around there.  Fortunately it fell off in the wee hours of a Monday morning and no one was killed.

When I lived in Squamish I commuted to Vancouver 5 dpw.  The Sea to Sky Highway is one of the nicest stretches in the country....on a par with the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.  My only concern with the Sea to Sky was the heavy traffic.

woke up to snow blowing horizontally with winds gusting to 30mph.  not sure if they didn't start clearing the pass a little too early.
quite a few passes in wa st are temporarily closed due to spin outs and accidents.
fruit trees in yakima valley were blooming.  farmers may not need to thin this year.
