Where Shall we Meet for Coffee on Sunday?

I won’t make coffee on Sunday. Heading out to Alberta to visit my Mom. I reckoned that with my heated vest and heated gloves I should be good to go. But Peter reckons I should tuff it out and not bother with any sissy heated gear. I think I’ll at least wear long johns.

Be sure to take a sleeping bag with no zipper and sleep under bridges.

Brrrr. It’s -20c here in Lethbridge. Wish I’d brought my heated vest and gloves. Gas is only $0.97/lt though.

It is going to hit 90 again today here in Papeete.  Plane broke down last night so have to tough it out for another day

  Gotta be a better reason to visit Lethbridge? Right, visiting mum, that's the best reason. Some of my best memories of bird hunting with my ol' man decades ago was walking the coulees between Lethbridge and Milk River for pheasant.
  FYI. gassed up in Lynden this afternoon, after winning an oil filter and free food at Cycle Gear. $2.39 us gallon, that's $.83cdn litre. Screw the carbon tax, i'll do everything in my power to avoid that communist tax grab.

Mum is doing well. Slowing down, but at 91 she still gets out in -20 to shovel the driveway and sidewalks.

Seriously, shoveling her own snow helps her show her independence......pretty important when one gets up in years.
