I've been told that I'm on my own this weekend since the wife is going for a "girls weekend" with her friends.

so, I guess I'm up for just about anything.

If we're in a group, Hwy1 may not be as awful.

Hwy 1 always sucks, but sometimes it's a necessary evil.

I'd be up for that, been thinking about going to Baker, I've never been there before.

Is anyone else coming?

Rob? Is your Guzzi ready yet? You've had that lift for a couple days now.

I'd be down for Baker/Silver lake road maybe South Pass on the way back? Baker will be awesome until part way up the hill then things will slow down but should still be semi dry to the top.

I think Baker will be a nice ride.  Pack a sandwich and a thermos.  Some glissading in the snow.  Too much fun.

How about meeting at the Hilltop?  What time?  We wouldn't necessarily have to have coffee there, just meet up and take off.  Would be nice to get across the border at Sumas fairly early.

I'm up for the ride, Hill Top opens at 8AM so how about we ride out at 8:30AM, so anyone who wants to grab a bite can get there at 8 and be ready to roll by 8:30.

How long is the ride as in distance and time as I need to be back in Langley by 2PM.

How long?  Depends.  But if we plan it right, you can easily be back by 2:00.  Others can ride more in the States, or we can all head back together, then ride more in Canada.  My preference is to stick together.

We can discuss it as a group tomorrow.

Cheers,

Does anyone plan to bring a tool kit?

At the moment my kz1000 has no brakes, so I'll be riding the z1 which has no luggage capability.  If someone else is bringing a tool kit, I'll leave mine at home so as not to have a large weight in my day pack.

I'm bringing a thermos and snacks for when we get up to Baker.

Cheers,
Ross

I'll pack a tool kit. I don't have any tire plugs on hand though.

I put the ammo boxes back on the eurotrash today.
