Yeah, we did, but we admitted to being asswads and realized that we were pissing people off......
I guess to a certain extent we grew up........... partly.........but not fully...yet..

Then how about giving other people a chance to "grow up"? I did a wheelie down my street just yesterday...guess I'm an azzhole.
Maybe he "admitted to being an azzwad later" too??...
Franks, I shouldn't have to remind...it's a motorcycle...they are supposed to be fun.
If you admit to doing crazy stuff, then tell me what gives you the right to judge this guy?

like the cops told me a few times.. do it on a deserted backroad... or a big parking lot afterhours, or the race track.
Yeah everyone should get to be young and have fun, but we know why our insurance is so high... plus they will take your bike away for some of that stuff...
I am not the judge, but some things are less than appropriate to do in public.. the fact that he posts videos of it.. he probably is unrepentant... so far...

Did you listen to cops when you were 18? ..."but we know why our insurance is so high..." lol....yeah because of the sh*t we did when we were young....that's why. We all did it Frank...you included. I find it funny that you sit here and judge this young crazy kid for doing something crazy when you did and I did crazy sh*t in our you too. Sounds more than a little hypocritical to me, that's for sure. Roll Eyes
Tell me Frank...do you wanna be judged by the sh*t you did back in the day??? Didn't think so....so why not put aside the judgement for a minute and reflect on that?

Its part of my history and I paid the price.... a year in plaster.. more operations following that... recurring problems that dog me to this day....
I dont feel I am judging but see no need to glorify those types either... but his is yet to come... hopefully he lives through it..

Yeah I took some of the cops advice and started racing on tracks and less on the street.... could get it out of my system for a while, and made me better behaved on the street..

I was a good boy back then.  Had to be, or my old man would have sent me crashing thru a wall.  I tried Road Racing at Westwood, drag racing, legal and otherwise, did some trials and scrambles.  All on the same machine,(1962 triumph T-100SS) since that was all I could afford in those days.  Ride to the track, have a friend bring the tool box and racing exhaust, race it, then hopefully ride it home, or bum a lift with a buddy who brought a pick up.  Simpler days, but a ride from Richmond to Westwood or out to Chilliwack was a major accomplishment.  In 1964 a few of us rode down to Arlington speedway near Seattle.  (I think that was what it was called).  Did a few runs at the drag strip and I came home with a trophy that I still have, all dusty, on a shelf.  (I was probably the only rider in my category).  Back 'in the day' we also drag raced up the pit straight at Westwood, and I picked up a trophy there as well (also on the dusty shelf).  I just barely beat a Honda CB-305 fitted with a 350 race kit.  The writing was on the wall.
