....that is about as cool as finding an "80 cube Flathead" or a "Black Shadow" under a tarp at some old eccentric Uncles place and then havin him sign it over to ya cause he knows that you're the only human being on the planet who's gonna appreciate it for what it truly is...

     .....hasn't happened yet.

....I'm the only one in my family who rides.

I know that this is a bit obscure but .....

When I was a kid, (about 45 years ago - good grief), I remember seeing a documentary on TV (I think it was on TV - but it may have been a teaser at a Drive in or something like that) about two guys who rode their Honda motorcycles (Honda 90's or something like that) on a wilderness adventure through the mountains in the US.  Seem to me that they were riding along the pacific crest trail but was probably just somewhere in norther California.  It was a 'Disney'esq' kind of documentary (for those of you that remember those) but I don't think it was a Disney doc.

That documentary kind of sparked my interest in motorcycles.  Any of you folks with really long memories have any suggestions on what the documentary may have been called?

Was it called..."The Motorcycle Diaries" ?  A story of two Latin Americans who go on an adventure by bike, and end up revolutionaries later in the life...a true story...I have the dvd...

note: to self, this was 1001 post...again...lol.

Hey Peg.  Similar story (not really) but made about 40 years after the one I'm looking for.  Smiley
