Something similar happened to my brother a few years back. Knocked his bike on its side, he climbed onto the front bumper of the van, held on to the wiper arms for a few kms. Driver swerved around a bit trying to dislodge the stuck BSA and its rider. Bike eventually came out and Bro jumped off when driver had to slow to take a turn. That night is firmly etched into my memory, never so happy to see him walking down the road to me.
