Saskatchewan institutes a new 101.3 decibel noise limit.
My Laverda and Norton would fail automatically.

Whenever an authority enacts a new regulation I wonder what caused them to do it?  What was the problem?

101 db is a very high noise level.  I understand why they want to do it under controlled conditions.  The distance one is away from the source will affect the measurement.
