Title: Peachland show
Post by: kilowop on September 04, 2022, 05:37:37 PM
Congratulations to BORIS and his merry elves for putting on a great display of classic bikes.  Nice come-back after Covid.  Good crowds and good weather.  Such are memories made of.

Thank you Boris....there were some very nice bikes to look at.  Lots of people to chat with.  Ron, I missed you.  We were there from about noon to 2:30.

Same time frame for arrival and departure for me.  I'm a stealthy old bugger and have been known to slip past even spy cameras.

I enjoyed the day very much. Good ride down with Ron, Chub and Galactica. Nice day for a ride and a first class show after the long break. I will be there next year and it will be bigger and better!

Great show and some HIGH end bikes. Passed a Commando up by surrey lakes about 4:15pm heading to Kamloops. Was that you Frank? I was on the red Vstrom.

I was unable to attend as I am in Montreal.  Next year I hope.
Knowing Boris' organizational skills I am convinced the event was simply fantastic. Well done Mr. Boris!

Oh, yeah, it was good....everybody I talked with had a fun time.   Even the RCMP who stopped by at the end to make sure no-one burned rubber as they were leaving (his explanation for attending).   The fellow with the two drag bikes was hoping that the RCMP would leave for a short time to show what his turbo GPZ would do, but got hardly a glance when he rode across on the cross walk and goosed it a bit going up around behind the hotel to his trailer.   All good.

Wonderful day, I headed home and did Westside road then on thru Falkland and Westwold. Great day for a ride and such a good excuse to get out.
