I actually prefer the look of the square headlight 1981 GS1100E, and I'm not a square headlight kinda person. I think it's the visual "one piece" tank/side cover thing that I'm just not into.  Great bike though.

My inquiry is a general questionnaire specifically to motorcycle pants. I'm blessed with very good gear to use. But all of my riding pants are over the top heavy duty for short rides around town. I've seen some club members wearing capable and, importantly easy to use pants, when not riding. Kurt and Ross I've noticed have capable riding pants recently. All of my pants are bulky, clunky to walk in, and I want something better than regular jeans. I've even considered Carhartt heavy duty cargo pants.

AWESOME BIKES.  I rode one once and scared the hell out of me and I was used to the earlier 1100's. One of the best looking bikes of that era.

Yes, that is the same bike . I don’t see “rebuilt status” anywhere in the advertisement. With that in mind, I consider this a great deal. Of course, buying any machine, one should check status of it.

Is it this one?

If so, I don't see where it says rebuilt, other than rebuilt brakes.
