Rebuilt title. I was "this" close to buying it.... hence the thread I started regarding rebuilt bikes.  :-\

Is it this one?

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1400166204193432/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ac0168cd0-0e14-4e0e-94dc-e7809223a658

If so, I don't see where it says rebuilt, other than rebuilt brakes.

Yes, that is the same bike . I don’t see “rebuilt status” anywhere in the advertisement. With that in mind, I consider this a great deal. Of course, buying any machine, one should check status of it.

AWESOME BIKES.  I rode one once and scared the hell out of me and I was used to the earlier 1100's. One of the best looking bikes of that era.

I actually prefer the look of the square headlight 1981 GS1100E, and I'm not a square headlight kinda person. I think it's the visual "one piece" tank/side cover thing that I'm just not into.  Great bike though.

I spoke to the seller in length about it, he told me that it has rebuilt status but didn't know why and when. He bought it as a Covid project and has $2000 in receipts for the work that he did. It sounds like a great bike if you're not averse to owning a bike with a rebuilt title... unfortunately for me, I am.
