$16,500 - $22,550cdn.  Not sure what that his auction costs are.  I call it an accurate evaluation today. These bikes have been sold within the last 10 years in the $25K range in this country, one, which was Laverda guru Wolfgang, who sold his to current owner in Ashcroft. There are so little amount of this model it’s tricky to guess the value.

Thanks Ross. While painful, it did go well by all accounts. Essentially the procedure entails burning and killing a nerve responsible for lower right back. You can imagine how cooking a nerve reacts.

I watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last night for maybe the 10th time.  It's a movie about an alternate verison of the murder of Sharon Tate.  At one point in the movie this song comes on the radio.  Brought back a lot of memories.  Great movie by the way.

18 hours left, $8600.  Most likely will be in flurry of bids at the end.

So I got parts today from VINTAGECB750 in Ontario.  I had to wait for the special tool to remove the centre nut.

I dismantled the clutch and measured the discs and plates.  They were all right on original spec.   The inexpensive (cheap Chinese crap) friction discs are barely within spec thickness and the friction material is much narrower than the original.  So I cleaned and sanded the plates with 600 grit paper, cleaned and oiled the friction discs, and reassembled it all.  The I measured the springs, they were well within spec, but the new ones were a bit taller, so I put them in.  Only 300 miles on the oil but I changed it as well.

I ran the bike up and down the lane and all seems well.  We’ll see how it goes over time.  I’m confident that the clutch is fine.

Got one from Wolfgang. Looks like Japanese Shindegan from a distance, but it’s China.
Gonna check with this guy, only deals with new Guaranteed Shindegan, and the latest  Mofset technology’.
