I'm glad I started her on a scooter, she's become much more aware of how little attention most people pay to their driving.

She understands now why I'm rather sensitive to poor driving around me, even when I'm in the truck.

I'm sending her to the same folks who taught me, they really drove home how important it is to be aware of your surroundings at all times and how to anticipate what others are going to do around you.

I wouldn't even be riding myself if we still lived in Burnaby.

17 degrees today, had to get out on the bike. And I love having this bike do what it was meant to do.... work ..... I often think of the ol' G as a horse, in many ways. 200km ride and came home with tools and supplies  Grin  gotta like that

picked up a great bike lift for the DR and a few cans of chain lube and cleaner, all for $80. Pretty sure I had more fun with the deal than the ride.....

What a great day for a ride! 23 degree's outside. Henry and I met up for a 200+ km loop ride to Kamloops and back. We headed up to Scuitto Lake at 3500' elevation, the lake is well underway to ice-off, so I'll be up there with my fly rod soon!

Back to Kamloops for lunch, then we took the Kamloops/Shuswap Rd where we encountered a group of Rocky Mountain Sheep, Henry made them nervous, so they scooted off up the hill.

Onward toward Chase where we went up to Harper Lake. Another spot close to home where there are some trout waiting to meet my smoker! Cool

This is gorgeous country to ride any kind of dual sport bike. There is lots more exploring to do around here, for sure! My KZ is coming along, soon it'll be back on the road... this is an old bike forum after all! Wink

Managed to make it out to the BMW night here in Victoria. The theme was vintage BMW of course but they want anyone and everyone to come. I was amazed at how great it was, a really top notch event. I'm guessing there must have been 300+ bikes came in all. Of course there was a sea of BMWs in the parking lot but I managed to find some other ones...

Nicest bike at the show in my mind... Wink

A beautiful R6 owned by the shortest little lassie from Ontario. I met her afterwards and by god she had put some miles on the bike, I was impressed.

2013, I thought it would have been older, must have been the spare tire that threw me off

2nd nicest bike at the show in my mind (one of my old bike that I sold a few years ago, and no I did not sell it with the extra decals)

Amazing venue and they even put on an Ariel show and had a rockin' East Coast band
