If it's before 1977 ( I think that was the transition year) all bikes imported from Japan would have Imperial speedos, I:E: Mileage not KMS.

15/16ths of the world uses the metric system.

My speedo, tires and tubes were standard.

Never seen a bike where tires, tubes and speedometer were optional.  Tongue

No speedo option for an Elsinore or an XR 750...

Wed I caught the 11am ferry to the mainland and headed up to Whistler. I had an Addictions Conference to attend for a couple days. And yes the irony of an addictions conference in Whistler does not escape me...lol...
I really wanted to ride my bike, the road to Whistler (Sea to Sky) is awesome!!! so I obsessively checked the forecast and thought my window was good...

The other side of Whistler..

1st night there didn't look to promising....lol

I my hotel lobby...lol

No bikes on the ferry on the way over or the way back...

Henry and I took a day off from our busy retirement for a 300km loop ride over the Douglas Lake Rd from Westwold to Quilchena, then back to Kamloops on 5A with an attempt to take Goose Lake Rd to Lac La Jeune Rd, but that turned out to be treacherous with ice so we about faced and rejoined 5A to Kamloops, then home.

At Chapperon Lake

At Douglas Lake, cool temps at 2800' elevation, but nice in the sun!

With no dike around, the blurry Dutchman stuck his finger in the bullethole at the bar in the Quilchena Hotel! Grin

Hard pack snow, turned to ice on Goose Lake Rd, not for the faint of heart! Tongue

That's awesome, Glenn, thanks for the pics!  Smiley

Rode the Loop today... man the road from Renfrew to Cowichan took a beating over the winter. Some potholes were large enough to swallow the B-King if I wasn't careful. No word of a lie, some of the broken up areas were massive. Riders beware!  Shocked

All in all, a great way to spend a day off of work... and no snow!  Grin
