Went out for her first ride in dirt and at full highway speeds to get there. MAN what a fun ride. I can tell I'm going to be putting some miles on this baby that's for sure. She rode flawlessly and was extremely comfortable, pavement and dirt. Super stoked  Grin

nothing too crazy but was still a TON of fun to have up and running perfectly and in the dirt.

It's quite the view from the top of the mountain and things were fairly clear to see Mt Baker, so clear that I could even see the mountain range beside it which is not very often

One heck of a fun day. Now all I need is a riding partner.......... Wink

Move a few hours inland... you'll gain many riding partners and a never ending selection of rides in the back country. Plus, we don't have any of these "gate" things that you have on the Island! Evil

Seriously, the bike looks great and I'm glad you've got her running well, great job! Cool

Looks like you made a good choice Rob.  Have lots of fun and make the rest of us jealous that have street only machines.

Do you need someone to babysit it for a few weeks when you are in Hawaii?

I lived for about a year in TABER (1984-85), and rode up to Vulcan and over to Brooks a number of times searching for a twisty section of road.  Didn't happen.  Had to go south towards Cardston to get my thrills, where I found some curves (and a very nice Mormon lady I dated for a while).  Only been back that way once since.

Well this is proving to be one of the 2 best riding falls in the 15 years I've been up here.

Nothing but smiles on a day like today.

No doubt Bear ! The ride on the CBX would have been good.

Sadly I only got insurance for the full year for the Bullet and it has gone and blown it self up and I am waiting for parts meanwhile I took the '71 Norton apart for new tires etc so no bike insured. Probably arrive a couple of days after it drops below freezing and we get a metre of snow.

Looks great Bear,

June and I just went and insured the Norton and the Honda 650 on the weekend for the year.   I have no doubt the fellas at the insurance agency had a laugh after we left thinking the both of us may have been seasonally challenged.
Hopefully get out on the weekend and share some pictures.

The multi plate is getting a work out this fall.

Interested to see what happens in the spring when renewal time comes with a date of Feb 29th. 2016 is ok but 2017? Does it go to March 1st - not likely?
