Went for a spin out to Dreamcycle yesterday. Mark has this nice 1946 Indian Chief sitting outside for sale. Cool

I don't know Henry, I look at the powerful front brake on that Chief and I'd worry about flinging myself over the handlebars in an emergency stop! Shocked

Well we did not get rained out this weekend.

The Okanagan was at its finest on Saturday and Osoyoos laid out the welcome mat for us.

We were thanked for bringing out our steeds by the organizer personally and helped with the unloading by his father who was a multi discipline racer from Quebec.

All and all a great day.

We were sheltered by giant Sycamore trees all day with a gentle breeze off the lake.

I got to share the company of some very fine fellows and got to meet and chat with some very interesting people. One fellow who has been camping in Osoyoos for years brought his very fine BMW - one of 3 he has - one with a side car.

Todd from Penticton brought his fine CB750F mod rod that was on display at Peachland and was in Star Deceiver's pics I believe. I liked it and admired the details and updates as well as the nods to its SOHC heritage (even though it was a DOHC).

Frank,

It is a Moto Guzzi race kit bike.

The owner brought first a black one with red lettering, then left and returned with a red one. Quite tricked out. Both sported Collector plates. Apparently it took a lot of back and forth with ICBC to get them registered but they are actually limited edition bikes by a production company to allow them to race in production races?

we had a good day also for a ride from nakusp to mica dam and back. great road, no traffic, wonderful scenery, a little straighter then i remembered. of coarse the camera battery went dead too. it was a nice 500 k trip plus two ferry rides.  ken
