Now that I am working as a tech at the local Motorrad store, I'm riding something different every day.

Yesterday's test ride:

This morning's:

Not the most exciting examples of the breed but at least I was riding... and getting paid to do it!

On the bright side, when you go home after work you can ride your Suzuki and feel good about it since you've ridden some 'pretenders' during the day.
I worked for Caribou Cycles for a few weeks back in '67 when it was on north Road.  Got to test ride some bikes after they were repaired, or after PDI.  Rode a new Honda 450 Black Bomber right after a Triumph Bonneville.  The Honda impressed the hell out of me with it's power and build quality.  We would test ride the bikes up to SFU as it was a nice long uphill.  Interesting few weeks before I moved to Kamloops, the first time.

Yours due for an oil change soon? Can't wait to post pictures of me flogging it! Evil

PS: Loop is gravel-free and seems to have not gotten any worse for wear since last year. Still bumpy as Dolly Parton's chest in spots though!

Rode this "classic" this morning...

... and this "modern" this afternoon.

Of course I had to assemble it first...

I couldn't believe that the R65 was wearing collector plates... it had big dents in the gas tank, rust everywhere, faded paint, faded gauge faces, missing lights on the dash panel, massive oil leaks and a rip in the seat. Why Trevor got the gears from ICBC for a square inch of unpolished exhaust pipe is beyond me!  Huh?
