Took a test ride on this 748S this morning... had bought it by noon.

Awesome machine, loved every second of the ride! I'm wondering though... is this considered a classic yet?  Huh?

How nice of you to say! Don't you have some kittens to kick or babies to steal candy from that you could be doing?

geez sorry, just thought I'd give you a heads up, but it's your money.....

my bad I thought you test rode it, if you bought it, (caveat emptor) that would depend on the price. I've seen your other bikes (you could eat off them) so if you scored it, it's gone to a good home at least.

Geez yourself. There are very clear Guy Rules about this sort of thing... you never trash talk a man's wife, a man's child, and definitely not a man's motorcycle. If you were observant, you would have seen "had bought it by noon." just after the test ride part that you commented on... failing that, you should have noticed the addition of the Duke to my signature... I truly hope you're not riding a motorcycle with these sorts of blinders on!

Regardless, I'm proud to call the P.O.S. my own and I plan to give it much-needed TLC over the winter months... oh, and thanks for the compliments on my other rides, that I honestly appreciated!  Smiley

Wasn't trash talking your bike just being honest. Not part of my man code to lie and then talk about you behind your back. Signature lines don't interest me, I could care less what bikes people have owned since birth or what's in your "stable" unless your name's Leno.
It looks much better without the 916 (or was it 996) decals the kid had on it, so it's better already. They had it in twice that I know of, the first time it had been messed with so badly Will didn't know where to begin, the second time they must have gotten that issue resolved. Also it has a big bore kit in it IIRC. I'd flog it for the month they are on the hook for it and see how it holds up before putting it on the bench. I'd pull the plastic to see if it's been crashed also. Don't let some random guy you met once kill your buzz.

Well David, I guess you deserve one of these

Looks like the perfect addition to your current stable. Do you have a 'wanna go fast' syndrome going on right now?
