Well . . . went down south to see my gals, this thur-fri . . .

A stop in Harrington is always a must, they have set up a new studibaker museum there.
out back I saw a rat Rod . . . so needed a shot . . .

Next day when I was about to leave  (token shot outside grannies)

My X, said there was a new burger at the love's carl jr or what ever it is called truck and fatty stop,
so went to try it . . . she is not a Connoisseur ov burgers 4 shore,

But as I was leaving, met up with a group ov guys and gals from Frisco, on their way out east,
Livin' the life and TOTALY Enjoying it . . . Bless there hearts.

Chatted with them for a good long while,
wanted to ride with them but didn't want to appear weird to them.
ha ha ha

GREAT GROUP in my Books.

Funny . . . their bikes aren't classic . . . but they had me goin' for a while . . . as they seemed to have thirty year old dust grease and grim on them.

My friend Dave who owns Partly Daves Garage and I rode our bikes on top of Eagle Rock in Armstrong today.
The first pic I am looking NW towards Armstrong. I am right above the gravel pit at Pleasant Valley Rd. and Highway 97A.
The second pic is dave looking at Eagle Rock.
The third one is on top.North end of Okanagan Lake (Head of the Lake) in the background.
On top , there were eagles gliding past us about 20 feet from us.

Went for a nice ride around my new stomping grounds, (Chase), the other day. Beautiful riding there, can't wait to complete the move and settle in!

Actually had to spook a mountain sheep family away so I could get the picture!

Powderface Trail.  Connects hwy 68 with hwy 66 between Sibbald creek and Elbow falls.  The bridges and roads were wiped out in many locations during the 2013 flood.

And a road is only closed if the gate is KLR proof...

There was a service vehicle a few kms from this gate... I'm guessing that's why it was unlocked... of course, it being bent horribly and shotgunned to hell is the other possibility... Rode around it anyways.

All the bridges have been replaced with these, of varying size.

This was the worst part of the road.  The culvert is still there but there's a large 2ft wide and deep hole in the middle.  Still, most vehicles can easily negotiate that.

If you're in Nebraska and the wind stops or you see a tree, pull over immediately and take a nap. You're having road hallucinations.
