Yes I remember me and Buffalo Bob standing down at the finish line on wheelie road and watching Jeff Hart fly by us on his back wheel giving us the big wave. One of my memories of Waldo is when he had Bob Crabb sitting on his shoulders riding his Z1R past Smith's Sunoco. A lot of good times started at the cow back when. Have a good one.

Went to the Canuck/Leaf game Saturday. It was my boy's 1st NHL game, I wore my Leaf jersey and he wore his Canucks jersey. Canucks win 6-2 ouch!! At least my boys team won.
Went to modern Motorcycle on Commercial and bought some Progressive rear shocks. Good deal and they will bus them over to the Island. Boy you guys get a lot of rain over there on that mainland!!! Got back sunday late afternoon and went for a little clear my head ride.
Anyone else riding? Or are we just talking about cars now? Wink

My new exhaust came in today. I ordered it last week from motorcycle superstore and used Seawings as a broker to get it to me in Victoria. They have an address in Blaine that the store ships it to then they fly it to Victoria airport where I pay the custom and taxes then I pay seawings their shipping charge. Here is the total cost....

Vance & Hines Megaphone pipe $328.99
taxes at 12% $39.36
No customs charges
Seawings shipping charges for 19lbs $23.30

Total $391.65
I would recommend Seawings, service was fast and friendly! Cheesy

Dealer in town wanted $429.00 plus 12% taxes =$480.80
Savings $89.15

The pipe looks great Trevor! It looks brand new... just like the rest of the bike! Grin Good idea to keep the stocker stored, I assume a good example would be tough to come by.

Hmm, this Seawings thing sounds interesting.

Thanks Glenn, maybe we can get together for a ride this weekend weather permitting. Yeah I wanna store the stocker while it is still in good shape. Anyone have any tips on proper storage of my original pipe?

Trevor,

Don't forget to read the spark plugs a few times after the installation. Often a change of pipes will cause a lean condition and you don't want to damage that pretty bike unnecessarily. You may need to rejet the carbs. Keep an eye for the plug colour till your sure it is okay.

Yeah thanks Bear, we adjusted the carbs and I have noticed no "flat" spots riding it. The original owner put in a K&N filter and possiably did the jets then? I am going to send him an email. But yes I am monitering the plugs closely.
