Title: Motorcycle Signs of Roadside Distress??
Post by: Steve G. on June 13, 2023, 11:58:35 AM

Getting into a discussion about roadside help signs. Is putting your helmet behind your rear tire a sign?  I pointed out the problem with a potentially flat black helmet, on flat or semi glass black road, up against a flat or semi glass tire,,,,,as an emergency sign with very questionable visual capability from a moving vehicle. I got pushback.

Wouldn’t a wave work better? A wave worked very well for me back in 2014 when the Ducati I was riding just outside of Queenstown, South Island blew up. A wave managed to assemble 40 members of the Honda Riders of Australia within 30 seconds.

But it’s better to sit on a curb while your black helmet sitting on the ground finds help?????

  Society is falling.
