Happy 73rd birthday to this celebrated singer/performer.  Unfortunately he died three years ago so this is really his third heavenly birthday.

This lady cut. her singing voice at the Maple Leaf Hotel, in Timmins.  I lived there for a few years in the 90's and 00's but never got to see her, although my daughter had her photo taken with her.  Today is her birthday.

That was from Concert for George from around 2002.  I thought Prince overdid it with his flinging the guitar up in the air and promptly walking off stage.  A couple of weeks ago I posted Billy Preston singing My Sweet Lord from the same concert.  It seemed petty to me.
