I love that song!  I listen to the Beatles channel on Sirius whenever I'm in my truck.  They were first at many things we now assume as part of the way things have always been.

Another example of innovation by the Beatles is "I'm Only Sleeping, on Revolver.  This was one of the first albums recorded on 4 track stereo.  On this song they recorded some guitar and then played it backwards for effect.  You can hear it in the second half of the song.

Ron Tutt passed away yesterday.  Who was Ron Tutt you might ask?  He was the drummer for Elvis for a number of years, until Elvis died.  He played with a lot of people after that, including on this song with this guy.

This song by the Rolling Stones was deleted from their play list.  Apparently it's too sensitive a subject for some people nowadays.
