This guy was a founder of ELO, a band that had numerous hits back in the '70's/80's.  He struck up a friendship with George Harrison and produced several of George's albums, moving on to a new career producing many albums for many groups over the years..  He was part of the Travelling Wilburys, along with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty, a group that put out several successful albums before Roy died and the group stopped recording.  This song is probably the most popular one from his ELO days.

Frank Zappa has been described as a musical genius but I had a really hard time getting into his music.  Back in the 60's I had a copy of Freak Out, an album by the Mothers of Invention.  It was very unconventional...not even good stoner music.  Except for this song.
