Is that a weld where the frame attaches to the triple tree?  

On Saturday I ran the B4 again.  It's running really well but I couldn't tighten down the valve cover because of a couple of stripped threads.  They've been repaired before so not much I can do now.  Anyway I have an oil leak that I need to seal up with liquid gasket.  So yesterday I installed a new seat cover on the LTD seat, after cleaning the rust off the old pan and re-painting it.

Not a weld, you're seeing the top edge of the ignition switch bracket that would be used if this had a different tank.

Sure looks like a weld though.   Cheesy

Upgraded the front brakes on the ol' 78' . Man what a difference. Now I have to figure out what to do about the non existent rear brake.

Ya me too John, but that bit of gold has got me thinking of the vintage track rims I have, set of EPM magnesium rims  Grin  maybe those and one the Yoshi pipes I've got to make it even more era specific?

Okay Frank. Surprising what was under the paint but then again, this bike was oh so close to being a parts bike. The only thing that saved it was being a Sept/69 K0.  Cliff.

Putting a new set of sprockets and a new chain on her next week I am going up two teeth on the back as the last thing I need is more top end.  Torque is our friend though.
