. . Well finaly Buttoned up the Exhaust leaks and got the mufflers on . . .
. . . I had to bring the welder up  to weld a home made elbow between the header and the muffler.
This is a 1 yr production bike and nothing is available 35 years later.

Got the rear tire back on and the rear fender as well . . . changed oil . . . and Hung the All Coveted Collector Plate . . .
. . The Plate was a 60 hour turn around . . .
Change front tire 2morrow . . . Then Go for a ride

. . Yea Thanks . . . until recently, in person I have only seen three . . .

In 1991 I had an engine only, It got Waylaid somewhere over the years.

Then My Roadster, now this one . . . My friend in Calgary has 4 that I have seen.
And now with the internet they pop up . . . but that is not like seeing them on the road.

So my 2 are the only 2 that I have seen road worthy . . . Funny that they are relatively cheep for sale on line.
1200- 2000 . . . mind you I have seen the od one for 4500 online

Any day now and I'll be putting the KLR on the road. Took it outside and it fired up immediately. Didn't do anything over the winter to it except put on some Barkbusters, an S&W skidplate, plus some engine guards.

The KLR is the Rodney Dangerfield of dual sports, it just doesn't get any respect. So I picked up some nice BMW style roundel stickers so I can maybe be allowed to hang out with the cool dudes! Grin

If you're in Nebraska and the wind stops or you see a tree, pull over immediately and take a nap. You're having road hallucinations.
