I googled "motorcycle antler" and all I got was a bunch of cruisers that looked like they had crashed into a yard sale.

No race Chris.

Other than the Honda Turbo the Gt750 is the most complicated bike I have worked on and requires a lot of finnicking. I plan to take it to Chilliwack as a work in progress. Spring is a more likely date for hitting the road with it. I have been rather busy with doing up the garage in the hopes of getting a few more of my bikes in there whuich has done nothing for the build timeline.

Bear

Thanks to you and John for the parts shuttle Smiley

Got home from a quick trip on the Stelvio tonight and thought I would try to kick over the Matchless, just for S#*ts and giggles.

Damn thing fired and ran on the first kick.

I'm certain that my problem was/is a bad condenser in the mag, runs great until it gets hot.

I'll wait until my wife is back from her trip before I take it out, just in case it leaves me somewhere again.

Did a nice 340 km "shake down run" on the Norton. Been off the road since last Labour Day weekend with a  blown gearbox.
Went to Nelson via Blewitt Road then up the lake to balfour. Across the lake, through Crawford Bay and all the way up to Creston. Up over the Salmo Creston to Salmo. This is where S#*t went wrong: engine breather came off, and I didn't notice. Wouldn't have been an issue if hadn't have slightly overfilled the oil tank.
In Salmo, took a 30 minute cool down and back home via the Bombi Pass.
