Chris,

You should buy Wheels a bottle of wine and some never-dull, he'll have that fender looking new in no-time!

Brought the twins out today, got both running and will to a full tune up and carb sync before riding them. I forgot how nice they sound. Cliff.

Finally got back at the process for fitting the rear sets on the 400.......no heat in the shed, a lot of glove-on work, will do finessing when it gets warmer....gotta get the bikes back together so I can ride them over to the new house when we get possession....at least the starter works on the 400, now.

I think if I do a semi stock one it has to be red. cliff I just scored a set of red KO sidecovers. With original Red ....on the sohc. Forum lately..

Good score Frank! I'm doing a 12/69 K0 as well (should really have been a parts bike but...)  that's originally candy blue green but may paint it red to match my first CB750. But then again, candy blue green is nice too. I got a pair of the replacement side covers form the sohc4 forum but they seem big, thick and clunky. I may ask my painter to fix the originals or follow your lead. Are the ones you bought in good shape? We may drop by the summer Frank, with adequate warning of course. Cliff.

My buddy Rob (AZR) helped me finish off my 750 today. We started on it back in December, doing a valve adjustment, complete strip and rebuild of carbs including new carb boots front and airbox side.
Today we put it back together with a vacume sync. Thanks Rob! Grin
Finished it all off with a glass of red and listening to Ray Charles. Not a bad Sunday! See I still like my classic bikes!! Tongue

I washed the filth from Friday's ride off of my bike after work today.

Looking forward to replacing the filth this Friday!  Grin
