I'm struggling with a SS oil feed line I obtained recently. The 1st line I got was 9 3/4" long, 1 1/4" too short. The second line I got was 14", too long. So at this point I'd like to find a local shop in the lower mainland that could modify the long one, shorten it down to 12". Any ideas would be very helpful.

Hi Steve. Try a hydralic hose place. The ones that make them. They might be able to shorten it for you.

I seem to remember Ross having some brake hoses made up at Greenline on Venables in Vancouver, near East Van brewing (bonus!).

Oh my.  That was quite a while ago, 2012 maybe.  Ya, I had a couple of brake lines made for my red KZ1000.  Great service, good price.  And they made them while I waited.

Probably not what you're looking for as they're not local (Toronto) but I've had ray at http://www.apexbrakes.com/ make up custom SS brake line sets.  Good quality, reasonably priced and quick turnaround.

Greenline is now very close to you. 2945 190 st in Surrey. They have made many hydraulic hoses for me and have a huge inventory of hoses and fittings.

Kelowna has Allans Hose n All, they are good, do it while you wait, cheaper than online plus shipping costs.

I contacted Greenline yesterday.  The nearest to me would be their north Langley location, beside Shail's. They only do custom work at their Venables location, heading there today.
