A few of us in the Kamloops area are starting the process to do the Annual Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride for Prostate Cancer on the May long weekend.  This world wide event has raised a lot of $$$ over the past few years.  As our plans progress, I'll be doing updates. Hopefully other areas will also be planning their own ride as it's usually done in separate cities rather than a large Provincial or State effort.

Making progress on the "RIDE" set for the Sunday of the May long weekend.  There will be numerous rides around the country/world. As I get details, I will pass them on, and if any of you wish to set up a ride in your own area, there will be contacts for you to get the necessary info from. The one we have submitted and received approval for is approx. 50 km start to finish, within the general Kamloops area. Most rides elsewhere try for similar distances to gain the maximum exposure for the charity. Hope to have further details in the next couple weeks. Incidentally, no money is handled by local organizers.  All donations are made directly from participants to the overall organization.
