Roy is out of town this weekend.  I'll be there for a short while.  It's Sapperton Days in my community.  I want to attend the pancake breakfast and take in the festivities on East Columbia Street.  The street is closed off.  There is live music, mountain bike demonstrations, tricycle races, many vendor tables, food carts, and more.

Hey guys,

I should be able to make the coffee meet.  I'm planning to do a Canada Day weekend camping trip.  Any one interested? We could discuss it then.

Cheers,
Ross

I'll take one for the group and not plan to ride at all that weekend, thus guaranteeing fine weather for everyone.  Tongue

You're a real team player, Stan.  But I'd rather ride in the rain with my friends than ride alone in the sun.

Cheers,

Hey Roy,

Forementioned weekend plans exclude me tagging along. Too bad, I would've liked to attend. Give regards and condolences to those there. Thanks for the notice and invite.

Apparently Roy got the date wrong.  It's this Sunday the 8th.

I was wondering if John knew Bill, being that he is an ex Air Canada Employee

On Sunday Roy and I went out to Chilliwak to say goodbye to our friend, Bill. He was one of those guys that you could count on, very likeable personality, always had a smile on his face, and a keen rider. Due to an unfortunate accident 2 weeks back, in Oregon, Bill lost his life, at age 60. Valley Yamaha-Moto Guzzi opened their doors for a memorial,a celebration of life, for those who knew Bill, and was well attended by many of his old coworkers, and riding buddies.  RIP my friend, the world is a better place because of you.  John.

Sad news indeed whenever a good friend is lost.
