20 yrs ago on one of my regular group rides breaking traffic laws through the greatest street roads in Canada, we slid into Kaslo for beers.   I spotted it first, and immediately guessed it had to be a replica AC Cobra 427. It sat there in front of the hotel, a black lab sitting on the passenger seat, the owner walked out with groceries, said it was a real 427 Cobra, non- SC, so without the side pipes and roll bar. And a real side oiler 427, not the much more plentiful 428SCJ block. He offered to show us his ‘collection’. Early Pantera, 289 FIA Cobra, Boss 302 and Boss 429 Mustangs. I was beside myself, as my first car at 16 was a big block Torino GT.  Whenever I ride through there I think this must have been heaven.
