I did Cache Creek-Lillouet-Lytton-Spences bridge-Merritt and home yesterday. Thompson river is running high. Water is about 4' below concrete below Nicomen and the drain ports on the no posts are sandbagged to stop the river flow sloshing onto # 1 hyw. 
Really gusting winds and the road is rough between Lillouet and Lytton.

Yes that is a double wow on the river.   I also cannot recall it ever being that close to the road even in other years that there was warnings.

Kilowap that was Junes front wheel bearing and speedometer drive,  that stuff just never happens.

i just love riding brit bikes, figure i better ride em while i can still start them then when the knee or back gives out ill move to the Jap bikes with the button

last year the Vincent kickstart gear slipped and it almost wrecked my knee then after a couple of weeks i tried starting the Triumph TT special and it kicked back and the pain put me on the ground, 11:1 compression and me 150lbs, plus i wasnt committed enough after the recent Vincent episode.... but when they fire up the instant rush hasnt changed in 40 years
