Well fellas I wanted to go for coffee this morning and the Norton didnt.   On the way the bike lost power and I thought maybee loose plug or coil wire, plugged carb.  Decided to ride it out and fix it later after all there would be plenty of assistance at my destination.   Got to a red light and the back end slid out like it was on ice.   Looked down and could see fuel flowing and spraying everywhere. Seems one of the brass float bowl drains had parted company with us. (yes I had them off recently) Here is the pics from my too short of a ride to coffee.

Sorry to hear that John. Hope it is an easy fix. I guess you will have to go back to the Harley for a more dependable ride. Hope to see you next week. Kurt

Tighten those screws up John. I've never had one fall off in 30 years of Norton ownership.

John, did anyone phone while you were doing the work ?
I have a buddy that i phoned while he was working on his carbs, later that day some brass fell out.....so it was my fault.. Angry

Steve,  I rode this bike for almost 6000 miles without them coming loose before so you are correct.     Frank I took several calls while working on the Norton and understand what you are saying.    Good think is when I was cleaning off the gas residue I found a few more little bolts starting to loosen so will give it a good once over this weekend.

Replacement plugs are 5.79 US so a bargain.

See ya there. I put the Yoshimura back on the Led Zed. WAY better. Quieter and way better sound that the worn out stock pipes. And racier look to it.
