Still a fan of good old Varsol in the washer at work but it does not have a plastic pump.

If I were going to do it at home again, I'd be trying Castrol Super Clean and water.

Wear gloves, that stuff is hard on your hands.

Meanwhile, Canadian Kawasaki Motors released pricing for the SX and the other new 2018 models. North of the border, the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX is priced at CA$21,899 (US$17,192) with a special edition version priced at CA$25,299 (US$19,862). By comparison, the 2018 Ninja H2 clocks in at an even CA$31,000 in Canada, or about US$24,339, about $3,661 less expensive than what the H2 is priced in the US.

Pretty cheap for a blown tourer I’d say

I have a little 3 1/2 gal. parts washer that has been charged with paint thinner for a year or two.  It looks like the paint thinner (actually, mineral spirits, I guess) has attacked the plastic housing of the pump and warped it beyond saving it.

I found the same washer at KMS for likely not much more than a new pump would cost...came home today.

Now, what solvent should I be using?  I like the mineral spirits for how well it works, but it is hard on he equipment.......I cannot fathom having to empty the tank after each use.

Solvent suggestions, something practical without being the cost of a new back tire.

I had the oportunity to ride Shauns and Rogers yesterday. Super comfortable, nimble bike compared to our old Dr's. You won't regret that purchase out on the back 40 that's for sure. When are you getting the new louder, bigger, exhaust and starting the engine mods??? basically screwing up a perfectly good running bike... Grin

Lol... I'm happy with the way it is for now engine wise...well maybe the carb mod I here about. Grin
Its only going to make you hit the next truck a little harder Evil

Lol...I think me old dr is faster.
All old bikes seem like they go faster Grin

I was out running around on my VanVan today and happened upon a group of trees in the most spectacular yellow... they really made the bike pop!
